Jim Hallett – Chairman

Jim.jpgJim Hallett is the Chief Executive Officer and a director of KAR Auction Services, Inc. (NYSE: KAR), the parent company of ADESA, a Carmel-based global automotive auction company. He is a native of Canada and came up playing hockey on frozen ponds, through college and touring leagues. Formerly, Jim was one of the original Indianapolis Ice owners. During his tenure with the team, the Ice set a CHL single-game attendance record of 14,289, set a league mark of 13 consecutive wins and won the Miron Cup in 1999. Jim left the team after the merger of the CHL and Western Professional Hockey League.

Sean Hallett – CEO

SeanHalletHeadshot.JPGSean Hallett moved with his family to Indianapolis from Toronto to become CEO of the Fuel. In Toronto, Sean owned and operated one of Canada’s largest Ford dealerships. Sean plans to recreate this type of success on the ice, focusing on the fan experience and creating a family-friendly atmosphere that caters to the hockey purists as well as those who are new to the game. While Sean is Canadian, don’t ask to see his wrist shot.

Bill Stackhouse – CFO

BillStackhouseHeadshot.JPGBill is a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. As the team’s Chief Financial Officer, Bill will be more concerned with the bottom line than the blue line. In his spare time, Bill enjoys volunteering for local charitable activities and projects.

Larry McQueary – COO

LarryMcQuearyHeadshot.JPGBorn and raised in Central Indiana, Larry has vast experience in leadership roles serving as Vice President with Indiana Sports Corporation, USA Diving and Family Events. This sports marketing expertise has been essential leading up to his current role as Chief Operating Officer of the Indy Fuel.  He is passionate about giving back to his community and excited about the success and long-term growth of the Indy Fuel.  He is a graduate of Indiana University, and the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.

Robin Rushton – VP of Sponsorships

RobinRushtonHeadshot.JPGRobin joined the Fuel prior to the 2017-18 season as the VP of Sponsorships. The Wisconsin native spent the last ten years as the Corporate Sponsorship Manager at the Indianapolis Zoo. Prior to her time with the Zoo, Robin spent 15 years with the United Way of Central Indiana. A passionate sports fan and supporter of Special Olympics, Robin loves to give back to the community. 

Steve Kuepper – VP of Ticketing

Steve-Kuepper.jpgSteve was named the Fuel’s VP of Ticketing prior to the 2016-17 season, after serving two years in the club’s ticket department. A veteran in the Indianapolis hockey scene, Steve worked with the USHL’s Indiana Ice from 2010 to 2014. The native of Peru, Ind. is a 2010 graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Administration and a minor in Business Administration.

Jonathan Jones – Director of Community Relations

Jonathan-Jones1.jpgJonathan (JJ) leads the Fuel’s community involvement activities in his role as Director of Community Relations. Prior to his time at the Fuel, JJ worked with multiple sports teams on both the collegiate and professional level including many Indianapolis teams. JJ is also very involved in the community; he is an active volunteer with many organizations including the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and Riley Children’s Hospital to name a few.

Brent Hollerud – Director of Marketing

BrentHollerudHeadshot.JPGBrent arrived in Indianapolis prior to the 2015-16 season, after spending the prior campaign as a Communications Intern with the Fuel’s AHL affiliate Rockford IceHogs. Prior to his time in Rockford, the native of Blaine, Minn. completed media relations internships with the Minnesota Swarm of the National Lacrosse League and the Mankato MoonDogs of the Northwoods League. Graduating in 2014 from St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minn.) with a degree in English and Media Studies, Brent has been close to hockey his entire life – playing goaltender at the youth, high school, junior and collegiate levels.

Jeff Neidlinger – Director of Game Operations

20171010-091.JPGJeff joined the Fuel prior to the 2016-17 season after spending the past five years as a part of the game day operations team for the Evansville IceMen. He wrapped up the 2016 season as interim director of game day operations. A 2016 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, Jeff holds a Master’s Degree in Education as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management. 

During his time at USI, he was the goalkeeper for the men’s soccer team and team captain. Jeff additionally spent time traveling across the west coast running golf tournaments with the American Junior Golf Association.

Matt Kiel – Director of Corporate Sales

MattKielHeadshot.JPGMatt joined the Fuel as Director of Corporate Sales in the summer of 2017, after spending two years with Republic Services in Indianapolis. Prior to that, Matt worked with the ECHL’s Evansville IceMen from 2011 to 2015. The native of Columbus, Ind. is a 2011 graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Administration and a minor in Business Management. Matt has a wife Heather whom he met at Ball State and they have a daughter named Maryn.

Terry Ficorelli – Director of Media Relations

TerryFicorelli.JPGThe Detroit native and Michigan State graduate came to the Fuel in early September as the new Director of Media Relations and broadcast “Voice of the Fuel”. “Fic” brings over 40-years, 3,550 hockey broadcasts and 8-championships, including four in six years with Muskegon, to the Fuel organization. A three-time winner of both the “Best Sports Announcer Award” in Cincinnati with the Cyclones and UHL/IHL Broadcaster of the Year Awards, Terry last stopped in Evansville where he performed his craft with the CHL/ECHL IceMen as well as the NAHL Thunderbolts.

Loren Gading – Director of Merchandising

Loren-Gading-Web.jpgLoren enters the 2016-17 season with the Fuel as the Director of Merchandise after working as a Merchandise Intern in 2015-16. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Tourism/Convention & Event Management with a major in Sports Management at Indiana University, Indianapolis. A native of Indianapolis, Ind., Loren has worked with merchandise for a number of years, with her last job being a Sales Associate at Macy’s department store. Although new to hockey, Loren is a huge sports fan and looks forward to being a part of the game.

Katie Damjanovic – Sponsorship Coordinator

KatieDamjanovicHeadshot.JPGA sports fan her entire life, Katie joined the Fuel during the 2015-16 season as Sponsorship Coordinator. The native of Arlington Heights, Ill. spent the previous three years in Colorado working at a high end shopping center in the management office doing marketing, retailer, sponsorship, and event coordination, and customer experience management.

Katie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Advertising in 2011 from Purdue University, where she was a collegiate cheerleader. She combined her passion for sports & entertainment marketing and event planning when she joined the USHL’s Indiana Ice through 2012 as the Director of Marketing & Promotions.

Jordan Gawarecki – Marketing Coordinator

Ben Pulley – Ticket Sales Account Executive

Ben-Pulley.jpgBen loves hockey, and his involvement with the sport proves it. From playing on the Purdue University team to managing the Biggie Foot Youth Hockey Tournament to volunteering as a coach, there isn’t much in the hockey world that Ben hasn’t done. Most recently, Ben worked in hockey operations and ticketing with Indiana Ice, and his experience and passion for the game will be put to good use here with the Indy Fuel.

Shawn Burcham – Corporate Ticket Sales Executive

ShawnBurchamHeadshot.JPGShawn joined the Fuel in 2016 after two years with the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball. A 2014 graduate from Indiana University, his first experience in hockey came from a summer internship with the Indiana Ice in 2013. Since then, he has worked as a Corporate Ticket Sales intern for the Indiana Pacers for a season and parts of 3 seasons in the Ticket Development department for the Cardinals. A native of Greensburg, Ind., Shawn currently resides in Zionsville.

Jake Friedman – Ticket Sales Account Executive

JakeFriedmanHeadshot.JPGJake joined the Fuel prior to the 2016-17 season after spending time as in intern in both the Ticket Sales and Game-Day Operations department. An avid sports fan, Jake recently graduated from IUPUI with a degree in Sports Management. While studying at IUPUI, Jake was a Business Development Intern with the 2014 Indianapolis Monumental Marathon and also worked as a bartender at the Indianapolis Colts Grille. A native of Avon, Ind., Jake currently resides in Indianapolis.

Judi Kremer – Junior Fuel Director/Youth Hockey Ambassador

Judi-Kremer.jpgFitness, teamwork and work ethic are all things Judi focuses on when working with the Junior Fuel Hockey Club. Judi has more than 20 years of experience working with leading youth hockey associations in central Indiana and Pennsylvania. A native of upstate New York, Judi grew up with a love of hockey that she passed along to her children, and now, volunteering as Indy Fuel’s youth hockey ambassador, she will bring that same love of the sport to Hoosiers.
