Collin Delia repeats as Fuel Grad of the Month

For the second straight month, Rockford IceHogs goaltender Collin Delia has been named the Fuel Grad of the Month, presented by Marian University Indianapolis.

Since the beginning of February, the rookie goaltender has posted a 5-2-1 record in eight appearances, along with a 2.73 goals against average and a .910 save percentage. Delia logged a career-high 46 saves during a 4-3 overtime loss to the Manitoba Moose on Feb. 2, and recently picked up his first professional shutout in a 34-save victory over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on March 3. On Monday, the 23-year-old was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week, becoming the first IceHog to earn the award since fellow Fuel product Mac Carruth  did in April 2016.

A native of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif, Delia started the 2017-18 season in Indy, recording a 1-7-2 record in 10 appearances. In 19 total AHL games since his reassignment to Rockford, Delia has compiled an 11-6-2 record, a 2.78 goals against average and a .901 save percentage.
