The 2018 CCM/ECHL All-Star Classic is just days away from arriving to Indianapolis! From Sunday’s All-Star Fan Fest presented by Central Indiana Honday Dealers to a special appearance by hockey legend Wayne Gretzky Monday afternoon, here’s everything you need to know to make the most of the All-Star Weekend.
The 2018 ECHL All-Star festivities begin Sunday afternoon in the heart of the Circle City. Join fellow hockey fans at the ECHL All-Star Fan Fest presented by Central Indiana Honda Dealers, taking place from 2-8 p.m. at The Pavilion at Pan Am – just steps away from Lucas Oil Stadium and a short walk away from the All-Star Host Hotel, the Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites.
The Fan Fest is your chance meet the All-Star players, get up close and personal with some of the greatest trophies in the game, and much more! Get your picture taken with hockey’s ultimate prize – the one and only Stanley Cup; along with the NHL’s Hart Trophy, Conn Smythe Trophy and more, all provided by the Hockey Hall of Fame!
Other Fan Fest activities include:
- Autographs from Fuel players, the ECHL All-Stars and mascots
- Interactive hockey games and exhibits
- Gaming station featuring EA Sports NHL 18
- Live music featuring the Hunter Smith Band
- Gear up with official 2018 ECHL All-Star Classic merchandise
- Food & beverage service featuring local food trucks

2018 CCM/ALL-STAR CLASSIC
The main event of All-Star weekend arrives on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. For the first time in ECHL history, four teams representing each division will square off in a 3-on-3 tournament to crown a winner.
Be sure to arrive early for a pregame ceremony featuring The Great One and a special performance of "Back Home Again in Indiana" by Chicago Blackhawks anthem singer Jim Cornelison!
Miss the Stanley Cup at Fan Fest? The trophy will be on display in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum concourse throughout the game.
Between the semifinal and championship rounds of the All-Star Classic, the league’s top talent will show their skills during the 2018 ECHL Skills Competition. The All-Stars will compete in the following exciting events:
- Fastest Skater
- Rapid Fire Goalie Challenge (A shootout-style relay where the goaltender who surrenders the fewest number of goals is determined the winner)
- Hardest Shot
