Pink in the Rink returns to Indiana Farmers Coliseum Saturday

Pink in the Rink: The Fuel swap out their red and black for pink during their third-annual breast cancer awareness game, benefitting the Pink Ribbon Connection, Susan G. Komen of Central Indiana and the I.W.I.N. Foundation. Indy’s game-worn pink sweaters will be auctioned off at the end of the night, with all net proceeds going toward participating charities.

Paint The Ice Event: On Wednesday, March 15, breast cancer survivors, caregivers and affected families will be invited to write their names on the Indiana Farmers Coliseum ice surface. A $10 donation is requested to attend the event, please click here to register.

Matchup: Indy and Kalamazoo wrap up their season series on Saturday, the back half of a home-and-home series that starts Friday in Michigan. The Fuel and Wings enter the weekend tied one win apiece, with Indy defeating the Central Division rival 5-3 at Indiana Farmers Coliseum back on Nov. 23, 2016. The Fuel enter Saturday’s game with a 4-0-1-0 all-time record on home ice against Kalamazoo.

Family Fun Day: Join the Fuel for an afternoon the whole family can enjoy, complete with a post-game skate with the team! Bring your own skates, or take advantage of our free skate rental on a first come, first served basis. Grab a few photos and autographs from your favorite players as you hit the ice where the Fuel play!

Matchup: The Fuel and Mallards square off Sunday for the ninth of ten times in 2016-17, the fifth of six meetings in Indianapolis. Quad City has won all but one of the first eight games in the season series this year, outscoring the Fuel by a total of 18-4 in the previous three. The Mallards took a 6-1 victory on March 4 in the previous encounter between the two clubs at iWireless Center.
